Michelle Sauntry, a senior associate with Pearlman, Brown & Wax, has been practicing exclusively in the area of Workers' Compensation defense since admission to the bar. She represents employers and insurance carriers in all types of cases including 132a and Serious & Willful cases.
Prior to starting her career in workers' compensation, Michelle worked in Alaska as head of Quality Control for a national seafood company. In that position she worked with State and Federal regulatory agencies. Michelle began her legal career in workers' compensation as a claims examiner for national accounts, then as a paralegal until receiving her law degree, where she achieved highest honors in legal research and writing and was a recipient of the Dean's Service Award. She was a Judicial Extern for Presiding Justice Mildred Lilly, California Court of Appeals, Second District.
In her leisure time, Michelle loves spending time hiking with her family and rescue dogs.
